I'm really proud to be taking part in the newest Mural Mosaic Project.
This is the second Mural Mosaic project I've been involved in. I'll be documenting the creation process of my panel and sharing it in an upcoming post.
The Mural Mosaic Project brings together hundreds of individual paintings created by hundreds of artists into one unifying image. Each painting reflects an individual's unique creativity and style. When a painting is completed it is carefully placed in sequence within the mural to assemble one masterpiece.
My first submission, a Baby Manatee painting, was to the "Earth's Treasure Chest" project, a mural benefiting the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society. The project's 216 panels were auctioned off on May 14th, 2007 raising over $45,000 for the organization!
